Cosplay - Bought

If you purchased a fantastic cosplay of a character from anime, series or games you wish to showcase, this is for you.

In this competition there are 2 rounds.
The first round you present yourself on stage and do some poses as the character.

If you advance to the second round, you will have maxiumum of 3 minutes to perform with microphone and sound\video.
In this round, it's important to showcase the character, and make a great impression on the judges and guests.
This is an individual competition, but you can bring a friend on stage with you as long as you are in focus.

Assessment for purchased is 40% accuracy of costume and 60% presentation.

This competition will be held on Saturday after the group performance.
You can sign up for both Group performance and at the same time compete individually in purchased or homemade, but the performance cannot be exactly the same.

Cosplay - Classic

This is for people that have made their own cosplay.

You have to have made at least 70%-80% of the cosplay.
This means that a part of your costume can be bought, examples: Wig, shoes, prop and belt.


In this competition there are 2 rounds.
The first round you present yourself on stage and do some poses as the character, followed by a one-on-one meeting with judges.

If you advance to the second round, you will have a maxiumum of 3 minutes to perform with microphone and sound\video.
In this round, it's important showcase the character, and make a great impression on the judges and guests.
This is an individual competition, but you can bring a friend on stage with you as long as you are in focus.

Assessment is 50% for craftsmanship and 50% performance.

This competition will be held on Saturday after the Group Performance
You can sign up for both Group performance and at the same time compete individually in purchased or homemade, but the performance cannot be exactly the same.

Cosplay - Mastercraft

If you have made a fantastic cosplay of a character from anime, series or games and want to qualify for the Europa Cosplay Cup in France, this is for you.

Winner in Mastercraft will represent Norway in the European Cosplay Cup 30th of November 2025.
Travel to Toulouse in France is covered by E2C and Metrocon

In this competition there are 2 rounds.
The first round you present yourself on stage and do some poses as the character, followed by a one-on-one meeting with judges.

If you advance to the second round, you will have up to 3 minutes to perform with microphone and sound\video.
In this round, it's important showcase the character, and make a great impression on the judges and guests.
This is an individual competition.

It's important to read through the rules below before siging-up.

This competition will be held on Saturday after the Group Performance.

Original Character

This is for people who have made their own original character and want to show it off.

Having an original character means that it can not be an existing character.
It can also not be a different versions of an existing character like a gender bend, alt version or so on.

In this competition there is 1 round held on Sunday.

A performance with music and microphone is optional, but if you have a specific audio file, this must be stated in the registration by 19th of September.
It is also possible to register in the Info Desk by 13.00 on Sunday 5th of October, but you will then not have the option to choose sound or light.
You will have a maximum of 3 minutes to perform.

Assessment is 100% creativity for costume and performance.

This competition will be held on Sunday.

Deadline for sign up using the online form is 19th of September.

Group Performance

If you want to show an awesome performance together with your friends, this is for you.

This competition will focus much more on performance and it does not matter if cosplay is bought or homemade.
You can join this competition as a group of 2 or more.

You group will have a maxiumum of 3 minutes to perform with microphone and sound\video.
We have 2 hand held microphones available.

This competition will be held on Saturday before the individual competitions.
You can sign up for both Group performance and at the same time compete individually in Bought or Classic, but the performance cannot be exactly the same.

Deadline for sign up is 19th of September.

Chibi Show

This is for children under the age of 13 that wishes to perform.

This is not a competition and all children will be given a diploma when leaving the stage.

In this category they can choose their own music, background picture and light.
All this must be delivered in the form where you enter.  This can not be changed after the deadline.

Cosplay Catwalk

Cosplay Catwalk is for those who want to show off their costume without being judged.

There are no costume requirements and no judging.

There is no registration and it is not possible to choose sound or lighting in this category.‍

Chibi Catwalk

Chibi Catwalk is for children up to 12 years old who want to pose and show off their cosplay on stage.

There are no costume requirements and no judging. All children will receive a diploma when leaving the stage.

Registration for Chibi Catwalk is at the Info Desk and the deadline is 3:00 PM on Saturday 4th of October.

It is not possible to choose sound or lighting in this category.
